Bookmarks

The Golden Shop asked me to come up with an idea
for a bookmark as a giveaway, so I designed and
illustrated a series of six, each one featuring a quote
by a literary character as well as his/her/its portrait.
The illustrations are printed on round stickers,
pasted to the actual bookmark.

The characters are:
-John Kaltenbrunner from Tristan Egolf´s "Lord of the Barnyard",
-Valerie Thiel from Dietmar Dath´s "Für immer in Honig",
-Mr. Bones from Paul Auster´s "Timbuktu",
-Oskar Schell from Jonathan Safran Foer´s
"Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close",
-Salt Chunk Mary from Jack Black´s "You Can't Win"
-Dean Moriarty from Jack Kerouac´s "On the Road"
