Dekade & Dekor

Artist book for Dominik Sittig

The book takes the form of an artist catalogue
from the early middle of the 20th century in look and feel,
implying it actually is an object already decades old.
This is implemented in the choice of paper, (cover)design
and layout, special retouching of the images and in the
printing-process.
The book is accompanying Dominik Sittig´s exhibtion at gallery
Christian Nagel in Cologne. The posters, one announcing
the opening (27 February) and another announcing a lecture
by Dominik, are designed in the same style.

Training Day / LeadAwards

How nice: the series "Training Day", which you might ...



... have seen at my exhibition last year, or after that
published in Aufstieg & Fall #1, is nominated for
the LeadAwards as best illustration.

So the pictures will be on display in Hamburg/Deichtorhallen
as part of the awards show Visual Leader 2010
from March 12th to April 11th .

After that the original, full size prints will along with new works,
be part of my next exhibition at Lucas Carrieri Art Gallery (Berlin)
in April. More infos soon.
